Here is another epic failure resulting from the wrong type of driver and vehicle and tyres.

If you've got the facility to check car registrations/history just search this one for a laugh.

It had been written off twice as both a cat D and cat C.

It's easy to see what went wrong there..........they drove straight into that abandoned bull-bar! :doh:

Bloody hell that reduced the value by half. better get it bolted back on quick.. :D :D
 
And I bet that hi-lift did more damage than help being jacked up as tight to the side of the vehicle as that.

My list ..

1, Recovery Points Front & Rear
2, Ropes, shackles etc
3, Spade
4, Appropriate tyres
5, Hi-lift and chain for winching if no winch
6, Warm clothing

... and do go alone unless you're reasonably experienced and confident!
