It is legal for running a FBH(fuel burning heater) just not driving on a highway ;)

Good work, someone more mental than me for a change :D

You can run your car on engine oil in the UK, you just have to declare it and pay the duty on it as its being used as a fuel. Veg was the same a few years ago until the 2500lt personal limit came in.

Just read through this front to back, cracking thread! Amazing to see the work someone is willing to put in when you can't just buy another like you can over here.. Top man!

Here in Serbia Discovery 1 is relatively rare beast...

Unfortunately I don't know very much about Serbia, what sort of coutryside is it? Hilly ? Forests?

Everything... Part of Serbia called Vojvodina is 100% lowland region with river Danube as main river.
In the middle is Sumadija or Forest land in English.

Well we here become "popular" during '90 wars in Balkan and in 1999 We were heavily bombed.

I think you'll find that is the case in principle, however HMRC do not allow you to declare and pay duty on it as it's a focel fuel.

Veg and bio are fine as they are either animal or vegetable derived fuels.

This is also our car, it runs perfectly. Diesel engine 2.25 but it is slow and hard to be driver all day around. So it is used for fun.

For short period there was P38 in my garage:

4.6 HSE wery thirsty. LPG conversion that I did in my garage - service.

Mint condition...

For me and I hope for all of us on this forum, Landy is all about fun... :)
