no "expensive" britpart
Either way, I think you're unlucky. The vast majority is great.
The other thing is that no matter who you buy from, these old parts are becoming increasingly manufactured by the same firm, and sold to britpart, bearmach, land rover etc so it's not always easy to get the bits that are out of full production.
Ive had britpart wheel bearings in for 18months, but then I fitted new swivels and one sheared off a month or so later. Now that's bad news!
The other side is still intact as is it's replacement and they've had serious hammer, so I assume I just got a bad one. Not good that it can happen, but you cant expect to buy a swivel kit for 70 quid and get top class parts.
I think a lot of people forget that britpart is cheap. I always look to britpart first cos they have the largest range by far, them seem to sell everything.
Only thing I don't buy is huh seals, I get allmakes genuine quality, although tbh I bet britpart genuine quality are the same manufacturer anyway.
