SECOND time this has happened.

Hmmm.

had a couple of non mechanical bits, one being a pair of extended mirror arms (with mirrors) bought them in August, one failed in Jan, the arm wouldn't lock into place. paddocks were ace tho and sent a replacement within a few days, got to keep tyhe old one, so got a spare mirror head :)

I have fitted a Britpart lift kit and seams to bo ok, not done much with it due to a full rebuild, during the rebuild I got some outer arches with britpart on them and they fit a treat.

I've only used one britpart thing and it will be the last.

Replaced the tailgate struts on my P38 with britpart ones. Only a tenner for the pair and not much to go wrong with gas struts.

Lasted for a couple of days before one snapped

I have a large Britpart cardboard box that I've flattened out and use as a makeshift kneeler or lying down thing when I work on the Land Rover outside my house. It's a bit embarrassing when people go by who might know anything about Land Rovers, but it's mechanically excellent after three months and I have no complaints.

The stuff that came in it is a different story.

I was sitting on my Britpart cardboard box yesterday mending my brakes and a young man came past and started chatting about Land Rovers and how he likes to take his 200 TDI wading etc. I tried to make sure my arse was over the writing, because it sounded like he knew what he was talking about. I think I got away with it.

fookin ell noisy lol, bet that was a barstool to recover lol

Ball snapped off so me and my mate had a stand about for a few minutes for a laugh and a brew, then cracked on and repaired it there and then.

4 hours later we drove out of the forest to much amazement of any bystanders!

If he puts your windows through at least you know why! :p

As it happens I drove past Britpart at craven arms yesterday on my way home, MASSIVE place!

Replaced some brake and clutch parts with Britpart bits yesterday.
So far, no problems, don't expect any now either.

The parts replaced:

Pedal rubbers!

I had a look on Google Earth and it is indeed a massive place.

"Britpart operates from a prestigious 55 acre site in Shropshire, which includes all our manufacturing, warehousing and administration."
