On friday I was driving into town with me mom when a dickhead on a bike came from the opposite side footpath weaving and swearing at the car in front. He then was at the side of my car so I then concentrated on trying not to hit him. the car in front then stopped for traffic and I couldn't stop in time because i was concentrating on the dick on the bike. As I am 17 i have to pay a £600 excess but it was the guy on the bikes fault for riding like a penis. The guy driving the car in front said the guy on the bike has done this to him before. So we contacted the police about the cyclist. Can I claim off the cyclist as he caused the crash?

Driving in the back of someone is automatically your fault.

If both drivers agree that this chap is a danger-contact the police.

Sadly kunts on push bikes have no road sense and yet if you have an accident with them=automatically your fault.

Thanks. Thought that would be the case. The guy I crashed into has also reported the cyclist the the police.

your gonna get spanked on your next renewal m8, as fanatic says your automatically to blame. should have been watching the road and not the bike, no big loss if the prick on the bike hit you but you will feel this claim for the next 5 years every time you renew your policy:rolleyes:

how can you claim off the dude on the bike?He aint insured, do you have his details?

beat the **** out of him and throw him in the nearest ditch

The cyclist can take care of himself. Always keep your eyes in front

You don't need your eyes glued on him to give him enough space.

There's more to this, i can't see a cyclist being a dick to a driver for no reason. The cyclist probably got cut up or pulled out on, hence him doing it before as well. Unfortunately you got caught in the cross fire.

oooh gaybikerfreebie with a valid comment.:p:p:p

it don't make it right though. the pricks on pushbikes round here are the biggest bunch of ****ers going.ride into ya, scrape against ya doors. then they get arsy when you swing the door open on em and pin em to the floor:rolleyes:
they learn there lesson when you take the i pod that they invariably have strapped to their arm as part payment for the repair to the scratched panels.:D

No it doesn't make it right at all. It's all part of gaining experience while driving and learning to ignore distractions that can well... distract you.

Curiosity how old did the cyclist look? Under 17 he wont know how to even drive over 17 he must just be a penis face

I swear I saw summit recently that says if a cock on a bike is involved in an accident no matter if he caused it or not it is automatically the car drivers fault. This means that if a cyclist rides down a pavement and then pulls out in front of you without looking it's he drivers fault. I rekon all cyclists ove 16 should have insurance.

Some cyclists do have insurance that would cover vehicles through the CTC (depending on what membership you have with them) and insurance is compulsory if you want to do any sort of racing or club riding. I had insurance through my old club membership.

Although now i'm not a member, and i don't do competitive riding anymore there's no way you'd get me to pay insurance for riding my pushbike. What next? Insurance for walking in case you happen to step out and dent someones bumper? I'd also like to see the fat pushbike coppers try to enforce me on my pushbike. I'd be more than willing to give them a run for my money, i wouldn't think twice. Hell, i've even ****ed off coppers on purpose on my pushbike cos i know they can't catch me. Nothing is faster and more agile than a pushbike in the town or city.

Motorbikes insured and taxed now ;)

I don't make mistakes on my pushbike nowadays. Although i used to get knocked off all the bloody time by car drivers cutting me up and pulling out on me. Paid for a nice new racing bike thats so expensive i'm actually afraid to ride it.

Nowadays my reaction times are a bit faster and i'm better at anticipating the traffic etc.

Only time i've had an accident that was my fault only hurt me and no one else. Gave myself a little road rash and tore my shorts but no one else involved. Road was wet and leaned a little too far into a corner.

ALL bicyclists are c*nts and need to be exterminated.

Don't give a **** if they're commuter cyclists or so called ****ing 'club' cyclists. They all think the world and the traffic should stop for them

****ing c*nts :mad::mad:

What kinda 'grown up' goes out for a bike ride with all the proper toys ya can get, I speshly detests these fat tw*ts I see around here out on Sundays - 'racing'. Coronary on two wheels dressed in a gimp suit.
