I presume you have also renewed the air filter at the recommended interval?
(I am asking the forum to comment on the next statement) A clogged or restrictive air cleaner would depress the manifold (absolute) pressure. Combine this with a faulty or slow reacting MAP sensor may cause overfuelling/excess consumption.

Hmm, Stanley, mpg down isn't the same as fuel consumption down...what exactly did you mean?Since replaced mpg has gone down and performance has gone up
