Hi all, there's a problem with my tailgate not unlocking when I press the key fob, okay I can unlock it manualy by jumping over the rear seats and the exterior handle works normally as long as I don't lock it. It works fine to lock via the fob.
I gather from the forums that a little spring in the rear door lock breaks causing the rear door to "lock" on locking, (like what happened on my D1) but fails to unlock on unlocking using the remote device. A site on E Bay sells the little springs, but says they're for pre 1999 model. Mine is a 99 TD5II. Is the spring compatible or is it a different design?
