Hi guys, fan belt gone on td5 defender junction 17 we will be able to limp off motorway once it's cooled down. If anyone anywhere near has one I will pay cash for it and their time.

Got it - looking to see if any where nearby is open to get a fan belt - I haven't got one.
Update; all local parts places are shut now
Edit 2; Do you know where the OP wants to get to? Happy to go and help but can't get a fan belt. You can PM them my mobile or vice versa

I have found a fan belt locally going to get a taxi to take me to get it

I have limited tools with me will I need to remove the fan
I've done 300tdi before bit not td5
