I find you DO need some medical tools, long thin stainless locking pliers come in handy!

I am a great lover of haemostats, especially for leaky bits and stuff where my sausage fingers don't get.

Got the git back together! Hasn't wet the bed yet!

Do have a rotor housing mounting screw left over, but it'll wait until I feel like suffering more.

I tske it you mean an oil filter type rotor? In which case I have already replaced at least one with a standard bolt. This is where your haemostat or magnet comes in handy!

Yup, the short bugger behind the proper oil filter. not a huge job, but urgh.

Just don't tighten the other one up until you've the other one started, if you see what I mean. compared to changing the coolant pump i'd a thort it want really a prob!
