Hi all,
My TD5 (T reg 85K) has just gone into a garage (Land Rover specialist) because it stopped firing on one of the cylinders. The garage has said that the injector needs replacing. When the guy told me it was £500 quid for a new one I nearly fell off my chair.
Does anybody know if this is a common problem on the TD5; with potentially 2 grands worth of injectors to replace it does not appear financially viable to keep it.
Also in the past 3 months a whole load of other things have packed up and had to be replaced.
Both rear air shocks leaking; fuel regulator housing (material became permeable and started leaking diesel); Hose to the power steering pump split and finally the power hook up relay for the tow bar.
Is this normal or is my TD5 cursed!!
