right, just seen a 300tdi fitted with td5 headlight and flasher clusters
so am i right in assuming they will fit a 200tdi aswell seeing as the 300tdi h/lights fit a 200tdi
 
2003 td5 lights or pre 2003 ones?

The 300tdi's fit 200tdi's cos you change the wire plug, and your front grille last time i checked. Where did you see this conversion from 300 to td5 spec?

right,i as been told they will fit
but yers gotta reshape the wings?
so if anyone knows to any cheap,let us know
 
oi dripper, you can do it but first you need to change our front to a 300, then you have to cut the wings . there was a the=read on here explaioning how to do it a while back. 200 to 300 is easy enough, ive done about 8 of them fr different folk
 
the new td5 headlight conversion on 200 and 300 tdi discos is possible but a pain in the arse, for a start the grill and bumper has to come off the back plate behind the lights need a bit of a trim,the halogen lights will connect up easily all you need is a basic knowledge of electrics,but the HID lights are much more difficult,so stay away from them if you want my advice..........
i have done a few, and it is not to difficult,its just finding the new lights cheap enough, i will be doing a rear light conversion from 200 tdi to td5 next week,i will let you know how hard it is..
