replace the fuel filter with a genuine one before u do anithing else
ive just fitted a britpart filter on a td5 defender and i must admit i have noticed a reluctance to self bleed properly. havent driven the car yet but have been through a couple of bleed cycles and there still seems to be air in there.
it might pass with a drive down the road, or is it a recognised fault with pattern filters?
ive fitted hundreds of britpart filters ,never had many issues ,you obviously can get poor individual filter ,but last time i had issue it was a genuine one ,the faults for me seem to lie more with filter head and pumpive just fitted a britpart filter on a td5 defender and i must admit i have noticed a reluctance to self bleed properly. havent driven the car yet but have been through a couple of bleed cycles and there still seems to be air in there.
