Ffffuu....oops.... goodness me just seen some fuel pump prices.
Which fuel pump and whats a reasonable price. Seeing them from forty odd quid to four hundred odd quid.:eek:
Advice needed from someone please. Landy in bits and need it on Thursday.

I bought one for my discovery td5 for like £45 off eBay from a company that apparently give a 6 year warranty. Pleasantly surprised the pump is silent and power of the engine seems really good. Will see how long it lasts but it’s only short term until I have the funds to throw a vdo one at the thing.

Expect a VDO one to be around £180 and to be reliable. Aftermarket much cheaper, but the warranty will only cover the part, not the effort spent replacing it. However, as access in a Disco is way easier than a Defender (where you have to drop the fuel tank) it may be worth a punt.

I put a new vdo one on mine after it died not realising my injector seals had gone and started to put carbon in the tank. So then I had to buy another after doing the injector seals
Fast forward to a year later I nearly ran out of fuel and put a Jerry can in to make sure I made the fuel station.
Only I put petrol in it
3 VDO pumps in about 18 months....
