Hi All, Got a 2001 TD5 Discovery 2 that has just recently began to run very sluggishly when cold. When I start the engine in the morning (or any time for that matter) the engine sound very rough (tick tick tick, sounds like a tractor) when I begin to drive she has very little power and will continue to run like this for the duration of the journey. I have noticed that If I stop after a minute or two and switch the ignition off and on she runs perfectly. The problem only occurs when starting from cold and can be corrected if I switch the ignition off and on.

Thanks

Its a td5, its going to have snags. Not impressed with mine. Things dont break it's just sensors or electric niggles all the time.

Hi All, Thanks for the feedback. I changed the injector loom under the rocker cover and works a treat, no oil at the plug though, suspect breaking down internally. £30 + VAT.
