will a td5 dash fit onto a 200tdi bulkhead without mayjor mods. theres one on ebay so might think about it if it does

Hi I did this about a year ago.

The dash it's self goes in without a problem, fixes back OK. But the vent controls are different between the earlier and TD5 defenders which can causes a little bit of conflict when opening the vents fully. I fitted a Raptor dash so I had to cut the TD5 fascia any way, so I made aluminium plates to replace the plastic inserts of the fascia. you could just remove them or put up with the conflict at fully open.

and the wiper motor fits differently as the td5 one sits behind the plastic moulding and 200tdi sits behind the speaker

True, come to think of it I used the TD5 wiper also. But I don't think using the old one would have been a problem.
