Today l finally got around to fitting the
Natakanenga cruise control kit that my missus bought me for Christmas

Being a post 2001 Defender it only needed the simple kit with a wiring harness and two buttons

After fitting the parts (about two hours) l went out for a drive and the system works perfectly

Press the “set” button and it holds the current speed. Touch the brake and it cancels. Press the “resume” button and it accelerates to the last set speed.
Pressing the “resume” button while in cruise mode cancels it completely

That sucks if you are getting worse mpg with cc.
I never had worse mpg on any car while using cc.

It’s not on their UK website, you have to order it from their German website.

The instructions are in German but they will email you the English version to download or read online.

It’s not that difficult to fit, route the harness up to the dash, install and connect the two buttons, and a live feed.

Connect four pins to the black ECU connector.

Make sure you get this right, once inserted these pins won’t come out.
I got one wrong and had to cut the wire and swap it over, the pin wouldn’t come out again,
But l was stupid as the instructions are very clear

Should also cancel on depressing clutch pedal :)
