Adequacy, @KISSMYAURA enjoys luxury :D I am lucky to have a garage to be fair

I spent 10 years with a sports-bag full of tools and a high kerb for a jack, a nice black n decker orange ext lead from the 2nd floor window down to the road and a kids play tent, then bought a house with a tiny garage you could have a car in it or stuff but not both, and only way to put a car in is to push it or climb out of roof! So now i have a double garage gonna enjoy it!
Want to remove both doors, reduce overall opening, remove centre support (pop in a lintel) and have a single wide door) getting roller shutter etc

Hah! I don't think I had it quite that bad but had to work on a shared car park with my tools spread between a 5x3 metal 'shed' and the understairs cupboard. Having to empty the feckin lot to get one socket set got boring! I want to build a car port now but will do as you suggested and get a cheap gazebo in the meantime

Decided I need a better LED work light, trouble is Im not paying silly money so.......devices to make my own. for less than a third of the price for the same powered one.

Used an old floor halogen work light and bought a new slimline floodlight form my favourite store screwfix, after yesterdays caddy marathon I deserved an easy play in the garage day, so tidied up so......

Popped on the theme from the A TEAM and off we go, job done!

dont get the super cheap ones form eby get one from halfords £49 had my one 5 years now all good, in in serious thunderstorm you might need to chuck a tarp over it but i mean storm style armageddon weather!

Nice one! I bought one from screwfix on sale last year was £18 I think, bit of an impulse buy I must say but works well!
I have a few but i need 'Gandolf at the pass' style light! my eyes are not as good as they used to be ! sick and tired of trying to get various torches and light bars to balance so decided to just go mental and flood the thing, like the TV camera lights etc.

My dream would be the frosted white glass floor tiles about 3t square they have super bright lights under them, think 70's disco but with just white light, toughen glass easy to clean, cant find the link on you tub but its garages of the filthy no good bsterd rich etc.

Planning to paint walls white in mine and festoon it with led's :D
good call!! will make a huge difference, check out the LED batten lights in screwfix very reasonable, just buy one at a time so the mrs does not suss what your up to!
I am going to seal the concrete floor and paint it white, my mates reckon i'm mad but i figure why paint it grey? its not as if the dirt will think oooo grey lets not make as much mess! again to reflect the light.
The old floodlight is now being bolted to a rafter roughly above the engine when a car is in garage, be nice in the winter but cant use it under a car its too fookin hot! burnt me arm n me bum to many times!

Almost forgot get the cheapo sides if you want, I find a white tarp cheaper!

Tbf the garage is extended and she's got her utility bit in there now so if I do hers at same time I'll be sweet!:D gotta stop the rain coming through the wall floor angle first, used to do structural waterproofing so should be able to sort that o_O

I've burnt my arris on those bleedin lights many a time, tanking lift pits and resin injecting manholes :(

Not nice the smell of burning hair them FOOOK that hurt ( twice ) once from the burn and second from what ever you nutted as you jerked out of the way! now got a burnt arse and cut forehead, honestly the language that comes out of my garage is obscene sometimes.
