Had the very same problem as all, leaks in the footwells in my Td5 90 2000. Took the mats up with a tube of tiger seal ready, found a 2inch hole factory installed in the vertical face of the footwell. the back of the mat has a knock out panel ready to be cut out to cut out to pass something through the bulkhead. I think it might be an AC thingy. Does anyone know if I can source a suitable rubber bung for this 2 inch hole? If so where from, all normal parts sources cant help.
No wonder I had a leak that side, water running down inside the bulkhead just pours into the footwell.

Oh one other, changed the vent seals from foam to the old rubber ones, just do it its a no brainer, stops loads of water going down the back of the dash. Who ever thought of foam seals?
