Just out of interest. When the three securing bolts are taken out I gather the shock will expand up through the bulkhead. About how far will it expand? Is it possible using a long bolts to bit by bit pull the assembly down into position. Are the three threaded holes right through the bulkhead or are they blanked off? All depends how far the assembly will be pushed up by the shock when it decompresses. If it’s only a few inches and the securing holes are clear through the bulk head then a couple of lengths of stud could do the job? Thoughts anyone? Does anyone have an idea how far the shock will come through once the housing released ??and would it be easy to compress it back into position by screwing down the bearing housing flange gradually. Thoughts anyone??
