Sound like the OEM ones fitted to the 2001 Freelander I have....The non OE are easy to spot. The OE inner joints have 3 distinct scoops out of the sides from the forging process. This requires the use of a special shaped gaiter to seal the joint in these scooped areas.
If the inner joint is circular in design, like the outer CV, then the shaft isn't OE and more likely than not, will cause vibration.
Thank you for that interesting to know, is it possible just by looking at there web site which are oem and which are not? forgive what might seem an obvious question but this is the first and hopefully last time i have to do thisThe OE inner joints have 3 distinct scoops out of the sides from the forging process
