Can anyone help me please?
My 2002 Disco has been in two garages for three weeks now.
Had 2 new wheel sensors as advised with diagnostic tool, but now the garage are at a loss to know why the TC light comes on when you pull away.
Any ideas would be a great help , being disabled I need my vehicle back.
Many thanks

Well done at introducing yourself ;)

Do the lights actually stop the vehicle operating? I have read many threads about the Disco electrics playing havoc.

Are the hall rings part of the hub assemblies? If so, could the diagnostics not say which one(s) and then have them replaced?

if you say where abouts you are folk may tell you of a decent garage to take it to (with proper dynastics)

they are the toothed rings the sensors look at i think they are
part of or attached to the CV joints within the hubs.

TC works off the ABS sensors and rings , if there is an ABS fault it turns off the TC. If there is a prob with the rings the ABS light would come on or at least register a fault code

You need some one with proper test gear
The TC system may need resetting if the program allows, sound like the sudden increase in speed is turning it on

Thats wot I think anway:D
