Retired to the country
As some of you will know I have had a long standing issue with the battery going flat for no obvious reason and then recently had the EAS pump have a catastrophic failure when it totally destroyed itself internally. Well it seems the two problems were related as since fitting the replacement pump the battery hasn't gone flat. It hasn't been on the Ctek for about two weeks and has started on the button every day through the freezing weather.
Probably put the mockers on it now by posting but thought an update was due.

Happy Christmas one and all :D

Well thats a new one to add to the list of possible battery drain and not one that stands out.

Weird. The EAS should sleep so somehow it must have kept waking it up. There're only 3 wires to the compressor. It must have been something in the top of the pump, possibly thermal switch almost fried?

Yep thermal switch had melted and disintegrated taking the brushes out and the the whole thing just burnt out. The awful smell of burnt motor windings was in my workshop for ages after.
Have pictures but it says I don't have permission to upload them

Think you have to reduce the size to less than 1MB.

I have been able to copy and paste on my desktop PC but not from my Samsung S22+ although I only tried that once when posting recently became a problem. Consequently if I take a photo with the phone I have to email it to myself to get it on the PC for posting. A bit of a nuisance for sure.

The EAS wakes up about every 6 hours.
