I ordered an oil filter housing blanking plate from Paddocks.....delivery guy turns up with a huge box - joking that it felt empty. "Did you order some fresh air in a box mate" he joked.

Don't Britpart make small padded envelopes?....no wonder the minimum shipping charge is so damned high !!

I had the same years ago from computer company... Same size box as yours but envelope with a cd in... Crazy...

I'd keep the box...it's Britpart so won't fit and will need to go back in a couple of days!

Hahahhaha. Ive had it a few timea from amazon. Ordered some A4 photopaper, the box i got was absolutley massive. About the same scale as above!

Packed with about 20 meters of brown paper.

The box is better made than their brake parts !

Ha ha - Brilliant Thread.

I think they sent the large box to flatten and then place under the land rover when their blanking plate starts to leak.

Just had another parts quality experience. Fited new UJ's. Went to pump some grease in and the grease nipple won't seal. Took it off and one edge has a chunk out of it. Just badly made.
Why can't they get it right - Love using my Land but I am spending more time replacing ****e parts than having it on the road at the moment.

That box is designed for the part, you forget it will have been made with ****part tolerances
