do a search it's a very common fault and is usally a broken spring (very small) which is readily avaiulable on Ebay for a few pennies..

my dad 300 series had the same problem. Is it that the locks look like they have opened but you need to pull the lock up a bit to open the door. This is caused by the internal spring on the lock. very easy to change. sold on ebay with instructions and I changed all of my dads ones and he has had no trouble since.

Good luck

Sorry different series you have a diso 2 I dont think this is the same problem. If the lock is sticky may be worth removing it and cleaning it. No good using wd40 as this won't remove or loosen un the old sticky grease. Try using a grease remover like gunk or jeez if you can't get this white spirit may work. Also remove the back tail door cover check nothing is obstructing the lock solinoid

Disco 200 and 300 locks are completley different from SeriesII Disco locks, no replaceable springs in a disco2 lock.

You need a new lock, a lazy one will just eventually fail then you are in trouble, as there is no keyhole!

If your going to spray any lock with anything like WD40, please remember to re-lube the thing or it'll seize and you'll be stuffed.
