Guys do you have to take the actual swivel ball off to take out/put in a new swivel seal?

Just bin reading lord busters thread (Excellent by the way!) on swivel renewal. In the pic it looks as tho you can only replace sed seal by taking the ball off?

Its not a problem, was just wondering :)

Cheers, scott

I am guessing they are leaking? You could try replacing the fluid with 'oneshot'. I broke both my seals last year and had grey goo dripping out. I used oneshot and it worked for me and....... have a look at this link. Swivel housing lubrication

Yes mate leaking all down me tyre, i put one shot in it about a couple of months ago, it stemmed the flow at first but the seal must have worsened.

Its an MOT fail (So im told) also the other side isnt as bad however its leaking from one of the other seals, which is leaking onto me disc and is compromising the stopping forces a little (Pulls to one side) so while im at it im gonna do the lot while im there ;)

Yep, from my own experience, you have to remove that lovely swivel ball, all 7 bihex screws, and put them back on with threadlock.
