Hey all,

Would any of you knowledgeable souls know if the electric mirror switches are illuminated like the window switches?

Believe so....

Take a gander at RAVE, should show the lighting circuit to the switch pack.

EDIT: Doesn't specify individual switch pack lamps, just shows a feed for the illumination to the switch pack...

I can only assume so!

I thought there was only on bulb for the whole lot...? So if your other switches are lit up surely the mirror one should be to??

Nah, there's multiples. There's only 1 feed as the lights are part of the switches themselves. Just wasn't sure if the mirror controls were supposed to be lit up or not. If they, I need to replace mine!

Switch pack is a complete unit. Cant replace individual switches.

A new switch pack with sunroof is only around £170.00. So get the soldering iron out. Bulbs are about 50p. :D:D:D

Since you should not be looking down at the switch pack when driving, the bulbs are irrelevant. You should know the switch positions by touch.

Did consider going to the car to check, but seeing as how the weather centre has booked constant heavy rain for my area. No bloody chance.

They should be illuminated... Mine are intermittent infact it's a bit odd when they decide to work as there is extra light in the bottom corner of peripheral vision! Since I've realised they are ment to be lit up I've found a sharp tap to the top of the switch pack encourages them to come back on if they happen to go of... Some typical Solihull electrics!
