I was wondering is it ok to park in 'access' mode on the EAS for short and long periods of time?
I guess she'll just sit on the bumps stops in access mode with little pressure on the bags,I'm guessing it is though it's just I don't recall ever seeing a Range Rover parked in access and I can't find reference to it in my manual or anywhere else, cheers.

Can't see a problem with this. Mine is often left for days in access mode. I'm sure somebody on here with more knoweledge of the EAS will advise.

I was worried about using the access mode tooooooo much and asked a while back, use the RR daily and do 4 or 5 trips a day, everytime using access mode as 1)-mrsblonde is only petite, and 2)- it looks cool

Was worried over use could damage/cause premature failure of the EAS but no one told me not to do it

The more you use anything the more it wears i think that much is obvious. If your willing to pay for a new compressor to look cool that is up to you. Personally i would rather look uncool and have money in the bank.:):):)

Continually using access mode is bound to cause the compressor to work harder and more frequently. This in turn will shorten the life of the compressor seal.
As for putting the car into "Access" mode for long term storage/parking, the car will finish up on the bump stops eventually as the air "Bleeds" from the system.
Access height is not sitting on the bump stops, it's just above them.

You beat me to it Wammers !!!!...............Again.

Yep you maybe right. A donation would not go amiss. But what can you do, he does have the stuff and at reasonable money compared to some other outlets. If someone asks what are you supposed to do? Just saying do a search sounds a bit crass. Mind you there are several others who get recommends who are taking the **** out of us price wise. So good luck to someone who seems reasonable most of the time. It's a bit of a moot point really, i know he sells Dunlop compressors for the P38 at around £168.00 another well mentioned on here P38 supplier sells the same thing for £248.00. I am not going to advise people to buy at the higher price that would be stupid. I just try and give what i think is the best price i have found. It's up to the individual to take his choice. To be even handed the same Wabco L322 OEM pump is £329.95 from P38 Spares. Take your pick. :D:D:D

thanks a lot wammers also irishrover thats a lot better than I paid to replace the one on my P38 £450 or I was ripped off?
Would either of you happen to know the phone number many thanks

Just do a search for it, not to hard to find you have the name. Yes £450.00 for a P38 compressor is a rip off. Someone saw you coming from a very long way off.

To be honest I wouldnt be worried about access mode if leaving it for a few days I would be worried about the battery 3 days and mine is verging on flat oh and island are really helpful and quick too.
