well went out sat night with woods767 which was eventfull. got properly stuck, winch broke, and had to get towed out by a Unimog!! it was the lane by dunsfold, right by you medusa

If it the one I think it is (really short linking Knowle Lane to Alfold Road) thats deeply rutted, not been down there meself but sent my other half to reccie it on his MTB. He had to walk to whole length virtually carrying his bike :hysterically_laughi he was not happy with me.

Hi mate, do you want to do something over this way at the weekend, let me know what day is best for you and i'll sort it out and post it on the other thread as well and see who else is up for doing some lanes down here.

Saturday would be the best for me, as we're going out Sunday night and the last time I went laning on a day that SWMBO organised dinner out, I was an hour late.
 
Might, just might be able to get out on Saturday if I can get my guests to **** off home early.

Think we will be looking to meet up about 10am on the Saturday, not too early as some people will be traveling down from Hertfordshire. Most of the people that are coming so far have done the local Surrey lanes near me in the last couple of trips we put together, so we are looking at doing lanes over Guildford way this time. Not an area i know that well, but i've got someone in mind that does and it should be a good day.

The lanes we are thinking of doing are fairly challenging, but you should be fine. Pintsize has done them and was OK and there will be plenty of people about to give help and advice if needed.
 
I will be there also (if you dont mind that is), and my winch is bust, so you guys can do the honours! :D
