You should have spoken up, I have 4 tins of NATO GREEN that I would have let you have for free :)

And I want to help rag the slitty.... (apologies if that just sounds rude..)

and Carpy just stay in touch regarding your repairs, Kris did say he had alot to do on your vehicle... can't think why ??????

NATO Green my fave. Would have gone well with the countryside, DAMM! :D
Gonna rag my slitty are you? YOUNG MAN! I don't intend to destroy it (well not in one outing anyway).

As there is quite a bit to do on Carpy's motor, maybe it's worth focusing on what is right with it (the list is shorter).

ooo a couple miles down the road from me. If you see someone in a blue series II of a grey 205 waving...it'll be me!

And right on my door step :D

Avoid the Kingston Road area at all times unless in a vehicle you will be fine

If you see a Green Rusty Series 3 in a garden it is probably my house :D

WASN'T VERY HAPPY WHEN CARPY SUGESTED NOT FIXING THE STEERING TO SAVE TIME AND WOULD IT MATTER FOR THE MOT.

i dont know the mechanics like you do clearly, or it wouldnt be in your hands in the first place, all i knew is the steering was coping fine, i was supposed to be heading off to europe, and as a result i thought perhaps that aspect would be ok until after we returned when it could be sorted then.

if i knew the extent of it i wouldnt have suggested it, it was just that i am on a tight schedule, im not entirely sure why you arent happy, i was just thinking of ways to perhaps speed it up.

all i did was ask

It's the Cleeve Road Estate hood rats off Kingston Road you have to look out for. They remind me of what I left behind in London..................

Put it this way Carpy, would you want to be driving down the road and the steering wheel come off in your hands? Or maybe you would prefer to go straight through a roundabout instead of around it? You have the lives of a cat y'know, you could have really come a cropper on the road at any time.

Kris is just concerned mate that's all. I've known him nearly sixteen years and he's a bloody good mechanic. I don't know that much about cars, but I do know for sure it's an MOT failure. Would you really want to be in the middle of nowhere in Europe, no one speaks English and you have a major problem?

Unfortunately, your motor is such a big job, I think he's being generous by saying two weeks, but he will work his butt off until it's finished. I was shocked when I found out the extent of your motor's injuries!

Thats why i said the Kingston Road area :p The park, Tescos, The school, Cleeve road, The youth center (Or what is left of it!) ect all full of them!

Something i found ages ago.... Leatherhead « Chavtowns Hehe :p

That forum is funny! I live off of Kingston Road, but is nice and quiet. I lived round the corner from Queen Caroline Estate in Hammersmith London and that is much worse and I grew up round Labroke Grove. Cleave Road is small fry. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter which part of the country you live in, these types of people are everywhere.

Oww Carpy you done a propper job of your CV didn't ya.
I havent seen bushes that gone for a long time.

My front Radius arm bushes are on their way out and it feels like piloting a boat and they're no where near as bad as that.

Nice pics Kris, keep up the good work. Jai
