Car should be ready for this weekend, but I can't go too nutty as will have had an engine rebuild. Don't won't to kill it .....ummm yet!
 
Hoping to get the diff in sometime this week but now its a bit damp, may take a little longer.
infact I wont be able to go play at the weekend as I'm going up to Snowdonia assisting a Gold DofE trip for 5 days :D may have to try out some green gear
 
Okay so James will be smoking Bulgarian Mountain Cabbage in Snowdonia, but maybe we can test Rich'es and Pinsizes repair jobs ;)

Anyone got an idea of where to go, not keen on breaking anything either :D

might get out satuarday as car boot on sunday to give me some cash for newbury next sunday.Going to take the 109 to sell and some landy spares.
 
Too far for me, and i dont like to think of my landy as vintage!

Should be at billing when that comes up, i want to find myself a cheap galv chassis and a good bulk head.
 
I think my land rover bits shopping list is plenty big enough, think I should stay away from shows and the like...

Besides my 90 smells like it is about to catch fire, not sure it will still be here next weekend !

There is a LRO show at billing this year , a LRO Show at peterbrough (Which i seriously recommend, Went last year and it was great! Very secure and not 1ft deep mud round the place like billing), A LRM Show at Newmark... May even be a few more :)

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :eek: Its too preaty!

Mine smells like it has caught fire a fiew times, and has the wiring to prove it. Cheap battery cut of switches mounted under the fabric front seat base, under the roof liner, are ideal for high ampace cold day starts and heavy duty winching. :doh:

Do you want my old one Andrew? Its going cheap and has genuin sorce-of-fire burn marks. ;)

Thanks for the offer, but if I keep fixing mine, one day maybe it will be sorted.... or am I just dreaming :D

I think the burning is a result of the the 35amp fuse the garage put in the heater circuit, it was glowing white hot and not blowing, so I think something else in the heater circuit is cooked. I can't find anything, and seeing as they put the fuse in they can sort it out !!

Anyway, is anyone out tomorrow ???

I figure Rich is sleeping all day today !!! ;)
 
Today I mowed the lawn, how sad is that :mad:

Thinking about moving to Hertfordshire, cause those guys are always out :p
 
Does anyone have a trailer suitable for fetching an unroadworty 90 from Scotland ?? Just pretend I didn't call you all boring in the last post :D
