so no joy with unplugged fusebox as well ? that plug has the door switch circuit too, the purple/green wire is only for alarm

Then it means that it's an interruption in the header where the signal splits or the diagram is wrong go to C0582 unplugged and give feed there between pink/purple
and pink/red

Then don't lock them again untill that frigging crossed B is on the odometer or if you have nanocom disable the superlock and the alarm untill you fix it cos you might end up immobilised

if you take F1 out there will be no central door locking at all

ok - now i'm at a computer (rather than a phone with 12% battery life left!) - firstly THANK YOU to @sierrafery, @The Mad Hat Man, @Hambo44 and @blue beasty for their help today.

No idea why it didnt work - looking at the wiring diagram it should have done - so guess it is the connections at the header.

Now back at the office, central locking completely disabled, doors manually locked (and yes i've tested, they all manually unlock again)

ironically i was looking to potentialy be changing (still disco) car in the next few weeks... increasingly i'm wondering how much the value of this one is dropping with each fault that develops... quite tempted to SORN it, strip out the interior and keep it as a site vehicle in the hope that it means my new one stays a bit tidier not being used to shift kit around the site.
