Hey Folks

Picked up my P38 DHSE last night and i'm a bit confused.

It has a sunroof, but no button on the switch panel for the sunroof. Is the wiring the same for non sunroof models? Wondering if the panel has been changed at some point and possibly the sunroof doesn't work

The heated seats don't seem to be working either, is this common?

Other than the above, and the cream interior being filthy it seems to be relatively gremlin free so far!

And before any one says it, I'm not keen on the wheels either !!:)

Cheers

Kev

The switch pack will have been changed at some point. Heated seat failure is very common. Waste of time fixing them IMO but as you live in the frozen north you might think differently:)
I have a spare switch pack with the sunroof switch if you are interested.

+1 on the switch pack but as for the seats don't listen to the grumpy old sod, he's not been well. Mind you he was a grumpy old sod before that. Repairing the seats is one of the simpler repairs in a P38 and if you uprate the stats you can enjoy roasted nuts all winter long.

+2 on the switch pack, seats and the grumpy old sod :D:D

Yeah, i'm pretty sure there was no Autobiography in diesel form. It says DHSE on the service book

What does it say on the log book. Didn't think DHSE came in till 99. Mine is an early 99 registered made 98 DSE in log book, but has all the wood and more toys than yours.

My mistake, it says DSE on the log book. What extras does the DHSE have?

Don't know to be honest. Mine has the same leather as yours, but far more wood trim. Radio telephone. Satnav. Sunroof. BBS alarm. Bench seat for boot trimmed in same leather as rest of car. Top model HC radio and CD player. But does not have dipping mirrors, has heated electric seats but not memory seats. I suppose it depends on the spec ordered at the time. Log book says DSE.

+1 on added spec mines a bottom of the range dt but has leather seats, air con, climate control ,wood insert on the doors, cd multi changer and steering wheel radio controls
None of which should be in it
In fact its a dse without eleci seats and a hole in the roof
