Back to the OP's hole in the roof. Haven't got one myself but isn't there a way of manually winding them open and closed? Cars I've had before had something behind the interior light. I was just thinking that it might be worth checking if the mechanism works before you spend money on a switch pack, there could be a good reason why there's no switch.

Drop the centre courtesy light and the sunroof can be operated with a key.:)

Don't know to be honest. Mine has the same leather as yours, but far more wood trim. Radio telephone. Satnav. Sunroof. BBS alarm. Bench seat for boot trimmed in same leather as rest of car. Top model HC radio and CD player. But does not have dipping mirrors, has heated electric seats but not memory seats. I suppose it depends on the spec ordered at the time. Log book says DSE.

The specs are a bit confusing, mine has

Electric seats (not memory)
Sunroof (no switch)
Heated seats (not working)
Heated windscreen
HC stereo & multi changer (annoying rattle from one speaker)

Better spec than my last P38 though so i'm happy. Loving having a Rangie again
