The sunroof seems to open ok but just clicks when i try to close it... is there an easy fix or dos it meen £££££s Thanks

It had this a wee while ago....

Remove the courtesy light unit in the roof, behind which is the sunroof motor. Central to the motor unit is a white plastic circle with a slot in it. Thats what a handle would have turned and I tried to use a screwdriver to close the sunroof. When I put a screwdriver into the slot, the plastic pushed in and seemed to engage. Tried the motor again and it worked.......

I have this on my freelander as well.
have you checked the grease on the ratchet slide - this is a common fault!
