I just realised yesterday, that i need to spend a little time with pad paper and labels, labelling up all the electrical connectors and whey they came off

Started this week to remove the purple window tint film from the rear windows which has got brittle with age so it started to come off in little shreds..

got the right hump doing it..

so... continued welding the bulkhead and footwells this week, the bulkhead body mounts were rotten through, so cut those out today awainting replacements rather than self fabricate, stripped the bulkhead back to bare metal today, it's now looking like its polished metal... will seam seal every joint, then primer.. a PO at some point had brush painted the entire thing inside and out with underseal.. getting it off is a PITA.. shame the didnt do it BEFORE the tin worm set in ! makes welding a joy.. not..

plan to start cutting out the rust from the rear section fo the chassis tomorrow to mate the repair section in

ordered some more repair panel sections today for the CSK

i think i'll start cutting out the rust from the CSK next week.

yep the A.. everything is easy to get to.. i think get the top end stripped down and see what's in store !!

got the rest of the god awful purple tint off the glass today.. used a steamer to soften the brittle plastic and weaken the sticky.. came off all clean. steam cleaned the window runners too. got the rolling chassis outside the unit. and its a ball ache doing it on your own. push it forward trolley jack under the axle, pull it round a bit drop it. push it a bit... rinse and repeat.

drank tea

got the chassis outside long strap on the P38 to stop it rolling off into the cows.. pressue washer all set up.. some arse has taken the hose connectors off the hosepipe..

drank tea and had a white chocolate and rasberry cookie

so sent out for a new hose on a reel.....

drank tea

finally pressure washed it off got some hyper clean on it too. its almost sparkly. except for the rust !!..

drank tea had another white chocolate and rasberry cookie

got the rolling chassis back in the unit by reversal of the process to get it out..cut the section off the donor chassis, started to dress it for welding.. pulled the rear shock.. well cut the corroded bolts off the rear shock.

drank tea and had another cookie

started cutting back the corrosion from the rear.
