Try gumtree or preloved, seems to be some more 'realistic' priced stuff on there than ebay at the moment

O have bought a 53plate Fiat Doblo Cargo Jtd 1.9D  MOT till May new clutch, dual mass flywheel, Brake discs and pads. fitted last week. Tis the one with twin sliding side doors & split width rear door.

Nowt wrong with that, I bet it still feels like a Bentley after getting out of a Land Rover

picking it up tomorrow as battery was flat due to it been standing for a couple of months. It's been under a couple of apple trees :(. Needs a good clean inside and out.

Good points it's got 3 HD roof bars Towbar a bulkhead/frame behind drivers seat (sod the passengers) :D and no rust that I can see. gear lever will take a bit of getting used to. fecking things in the middle of the dash

I bet it's a dam sight cleaner than the disco I'm using for an engine transplant and it will go faster in third than my tratter would do in fifth downhill with my foot denting the floor

Google seems to think 105mph or 165KMPH is attainable. But feck doing that speed with nowt between you and the outside, but that crappy little engine and wings. give me 4ft of bonnet and a good ladder chassis.

FFS back in the Market for another van  Due to the doblo been a nogo.. fecking thing won't turn over. thought it was starter. But removed that and it's working fine. Not battery cos we tried it on another vehicle and it started that fine. only thing we could think of is that the new clutch has seized up or it froze over xmas and summat's fecked in it. So have got me money back. :(

Did you try 4th gear and rocking it to see if solid

they tried bumping it off and wheels locked except in 5th. but it is loose ground & wet concrete was turning over just really slowly and you could hear summat grinding.

Not my problem anymore as I've got the cash back. seriously thinking of selling 110 and putting whatever I get towards the £1500cash I have, & getting summat newer.

Whats a 1996 110 with a fooked chassis & straight body good engine & drive train etc, worth. ????

Would the owner of the place we did lend you something to drive while yours gets sorted?

How long do you need it for? Could get away with buying a disco with a few months MOT and then scrapping/breaking it when you've finished with it?

need it until the 110 has had a rechassis Like to be able to say couple of weeks but realistically more likely to be a couple of years..

Can't you spend the £500 on welding the chassis up instead?

You can't weld to something that isn't there.

As it happens I have been given a noo (old) Motor by one of me many Female Admirers.

Tis an S reg 1.3 Fiesta Finesse  she's even paid for MOT & welding work that needed doing on sills. :clap2: 75k on the clock one careful owner, farmers elderly mother only got rid cos she's too old to drive it anymore.
