Stupid question...:confused2:

I'm putting a new steering damper on tomorrow.

Do you have to jack the front of the landy up onto axle stands etc or can I just swap it in situ whilst the wheels are on the floor?

Sorry,

Either way you can do it , prob need some good stilsons to grip the shock as them nuts will probably be seized .

Don't fook about. Cut the old one orf with yer grinder then bung the new one on. Simples.

Ok just an update,

My damper (Must have been the original) was 18 years old and the steering had started to vibrate at about 60mph were it hadnt before.

Took it off and pumped it but it did feel ok.

Put the new one on and now no vibes, its smooth again (well for a landy)

Thanks for all the advice.
