with the snow coming down lets have all your pics of our landys rescuing the poor people not to have a landrover haha:D

Wasnt a save exactly, but attempted to help a BMW X5 that went over a bit of a verge but his towing eye wouldnt fit, so after half an hour of bouncing on the sides to try and get him out, he called the RAC. And for my troubles for trying to help him for an hour he has invited me to his resturant to have an ale and a big steak cooked on the house :) not a bad day!!

Just had some stranger ask me for a tow up a small/steep hill, told him to reverse up it and hey presto no need for my help.

fook em if they int got the nounce to fit decent tyres, or invest in some snowchain type thingy's. and are stoopid enuf to go out after 2 weks of been told to stay at home. They can fooking stay where they get stuck..

Nope just don't understand why peeps feel the need to drive around looking for cars to rescue. As some sort of justification for owning a landy.

Gloat factor for most of them, because they can help out! I'll help out any stranded motorist if I'm passing but won't deliberately go out looking for em in dodgy conditions, don't fancy leaving my kids without a dad needlessly

My useful series is at my parents and my shiny disco has absolutely no tread on the front tyres (it was due new ones today, but, the tyre van failed to get through to my local place)
So, I'm not venturing out for now!

Tis pointless the muppets will just get stuck on the next hill or sharp bend they come to.

Followed her down the road, was a straight road she put on her brakes and lost the back end, she couldn't understand why as "it was in snow setting!"

I saw a jeep cherokee being towed by a subaru impreza this morning but alas, no pictures, I dont have a camera bolted to my phone.

Aye tell me about it. Talking of fools ... took a walk to our local shop earlier with the Mrs, came across someone driving who had simply cleared directly in front of the steering wheel with all other windows covered in snow .... whilst talking on their mobile phone (car's were spinning out constantly). Much to my amusement the Mrs promptly marched up to them and ripped them a new orifice on their wrongdoing  Bought her a bottle of Vod as a thank you:D
