On the underside of the instrument binnacle, below the clock/temp gauges is a small silver toggle switch.
Pressing it causes a light to come on in the warning lamp cluster which says "24v"
Also there is a second hazard flasher switch next to the rocker switch, which seems to do nothing.
The switches look like they are supposed to be there (as in not fitted by an owner) as they are mounted on a small plastic binnacle like the one housing the fog lamp/HRW/hazard switches.

Any idea what these extra switches are/were for?

The 24v light is used in the military wolf as part of the radio equipmant.

I think the best, if long winded way to find out what the switch does is to follow the wires from the light to whatever they connect to!

The second hazard switch sounds like it is in the place where I have seen a headlight height adjustment before

I wouldn't be surprised if the second hazard switch was connected to a roof beacon at some stage. Ex range Landy?

I don't know the history. It's had three previous owners, and stickers on the top hose say "Land Rover Malaysia"
