Thanks guys - I'm looking at both options.

Still on the theme of storage is the under tray on my raptor dash - useful for maps etc.

Finally got around to fitting the next shelf - it is 12mm ply with ally angle on the sides to reinforce it. The long term aspiration is that the misses and me will go on a long trip and be able to sleep in the back, the new shelf is the middle section of the bed - more on that in the future.

The shelf is also supported by the green storage boxes.

Also added some nice carpet.

Finally finished off the carpeting - although I might cover the door cards yet....

Back to thinking about fitting a cooker to the back door. As usual I'm not prepared to spend £200+ for a fancy box. Anyone built anything recently?

Good spot to source some stuff. Too busy this weekend but hopefully next one will allow time for development.

Following a good measurement, I can't fit a cooker on the back door as there is only a 7cm gap between the door and ice box - I'm happy with the ice box (blood type). The alternative is to source a smaller cooker than I have which can be easily accessed. Perhaps a folding shelf needed........

why not get a folding camping one brief case size fit to back dook then fold down when you want to use it ;)

That's what I currently have, but it's just a bit too wide. Something similar without the centre grill would be ideal.

Finally got the rear tub on mine, carpeted out. Sides tomorrow. & possibly the seat boxes in front.

I knocked this together for last summers Hols .

I have two 12v batteries for the fridge and a charger that I can plug into 240v when available or charge off the vehicle !

Two drawers go underneath and have a put a 1500w transformer in a box under the cubby box.

All worked a treat, Organisation a must when you have 3 sprogs, 12mm ply a bit heavy (used over 3 sheets) but you can't have yeh cake and eat it !

That looks very very impressive mate! Very impressed!

Only thing i would say, if that's a 1500W inverter rather than transformer then make sure it has ventilation and get a fan on it (redhand very kindly supplied me with a good fan for my inverter)
