took a little laning trip to see a mate of mine from years ago and got talking bout landys and offroading and how i was looking for a series 3 he then showed me this hiding round the back of his barn 
on a quick poke round it seems to have been rebuilt bout 10 years ago meaning its on a new ish chassis wich is rock solid the bulkhead is solid but the cab leaks like a sivve the engine runs sweet as a nut for a 2.25 diesel and looks to have been rebuilt with the new chassis ( my mate thinks its scrap ) the only rust i can find is on the exhaust and the front bumper ends and the only reason ive not driven it is the clutch pedal is siezed solid
it is on a Q plate but im not bothered bout that its a series all the same and its been stood for some 7-8 years now
just wondering what would you lads offer him for it im thinkin round the £300 area due to its current state is this a fair price ( remember its being sold from one mate to another ) and i dont wanna seem to be taking the **** out of him
