Yeah, lwb are slightly wider and look a bit better on the vehicle. I gather there is a wider selection of tyres available too.

Where abouts are you and what sort if price are you looking for? Not worried about bald/ mismatched tyres, infact no tyres would be preferable!

PM if you prefer ;) Robin.

what ive got is 4 16" rims no tyres as they are on the wellers, i just prefered the wellers so bought a set and put my tyres on em- im in Rotherham
ive no idea what they are worth - whatever your happy with you can have them for - all i'd do is chuck them on ebay, sell them, the winner wouldnt turn up, relist them, sell them................... repeat process untill i just scrap em:rolleyes:

Only 15'' rims on SWB that were genuine went stateside (better tyre choices for them apparently). I may just be wrong (again).

Miles away! always the way.

A mate of mine heads to Yorkshire from time to time, can I see if he can pick up on next trip up? If you need to get rid sooner rather than later then no bother.

i've got a 4 cyl bellhousing now thanks to advice off here my 6 cyl one wouldnt have fitted the Tdi
