Ive had my 90 now for about 2 months and since it arrived on the drive I have had 2 notes left on it and 3 people knock the front door to ask if its for sale.........

Is this usual or should I start getting paranoid about it disappering in the middle of the night to be used in a ram raid or as a 'fast' get away car???

Perhaps I should chain the landy to the ground anchor that the race car and horse trailer use. TBH I thought they were more desirable then a motley painted 20 year old mud plugger:D

maybe they saw your girly-fied interior and just wanted to see exactly what a female land rover owner looked like ;)

they do make good ram-raid vehicles though. and your honda would make a good get-away car! you have been warned!

You dont mention what year the Landy is
at minium get an immobiliser fitted

Just did mine a few weeks ago insurance co
insisted on it...............

Its an old 1988 vintage. so not that desirable really:eek:

I know that hubbys 110 keys open my 90 and vice versa:eek: so maybe an immob. alarm and ram raid post are required LOLOLOL

And I thought my postcode was a 'nice' one:rolleyes:

Best to take off the steering wheel when you park it. Or come to South Africa, nobody steals Defenders here for some reason. Or hijacks them, so many people buy 90s for their wives to drive to work. Much safer than a beemer or a merc.

I used a bicycle "D" lock over the clutch and brake together, once fitted a theif couldn't get enough swing on a hammer to dislodge it.When I went overseas I'd chain the steering wheel to the "D" lock and remove the rear prop shaft.Yeah a bit over the top but I was living in Brixton, south London.

ffs im dissapointed now, i thought this was a thread telling me where i could get hold of one ;)
