Simple, - Just don't buy an expensive Landy!! - I can't afford to buy an expensive one anyway!!

It's only these Landy's with Keyless engine starters which seems to be at risk, anyway. - Plain stupid not having a key, asking for trouble. - Suggest you fit an old fashioned keylock bar over the steering wheel, such as a Crulock. You should still be able to buy them from Halfords.
