I've converted my defender to take the later tdi discovery type of drop arm (no balljoint just a hole) with a longer draglink that has 2 trackrod ends. At the same time I put an HD sumo bar on.

Currently I'm, running it without a steering damper but would like to fit mine back on, anyone know who makes a damper mount that clamps onto an HD arm? I thought gwyn lewis might but it's not on their website?

He does the full kit for £30 , might just sell you a bracket seperate.

Wizardbilt also do one, had mine from him over 5 years now, great simple piece of kit.
