I picked up a great little brew stove from lidl for the farm for under a tenner!
Ill treat myself to a jetboil if I get out exploring more this year. I don’t want a big Coleman stove in there - I’ll have a little stove on the molle panel. Got first aid kit going on there too and a admin pouch.

I fixed the rear door today saying that. It was missing a rod from the mech for remote lock. Very strange. I made a new one and now it’s all working. Haven’t tested it with the fob though! The door panel is trickier than I thought to line up!

I fancy a jetboil too but they are rather dear, got a disposable canister type camping cooker that will do for now though.

Same I have a single ring one I used to use for fishing. I think it’s too expensive too. I may look at an msr. All depends what happens mate. Looks like some personal parts of life may be going Pete tong and if they do I’ll be out with a tent and my dog down the Jurassic coast most weekends I think.

If you need a chat mate, you got my number and it ain't that far for a ride out for a non alcoholic beverage ;) It's often hard to talk to people you see everyday when you're having a tough time of things, take it from someone that knows :(

I still got troubles I thought were gone so instead of sulking I set my alarm, went and bought sh1t loads of metal and a new grease gun and attacked the Landy. It’s coming together well! Had to tidy the boot door column bottoms up before I could start to plan my floor so did that first.

1st section. I’m happy to report on test fit it’s like a glove. Not sure how I’m going to do the front section of it but I figure I’ll work from what I install. The braces tie in to the very useful rear quarter angle

Been a while. No gas, money or motivation. However, the fender was still sat there and now I can throw dog and tools in when I go and work on it it’s a lot easier. I had plans to sandblast this chassis but I I attached with what I had. Little bit by little bit. How this old farm truck chassis is looking better than my d1 chassis did I don’t know!! There’s a few nasty bits but nothing scary. The rear member with the fuel tank cradle is rusted through at the seam. I haven’t decided what I’ll do there yet and don’t need to yet. I just want to clean back and paint what’s good then plan out the attack.

Chin up son ;)

At least you're getting to work on yours, family stuff is killing my efforts, really need to get on it of a night time but traffic on the M27 is murder with these road works :(

That chassis don't look half bad you know :)

I couldn’t believe how good it was!!! I went round it wacking it all and it’s a piece of p1ss compared to the d1!! Hope fatherhood is going well!!

Chin is up now - just no Landy money and no motivation for mine at the moment so thought I’d get to work on the fender

Fatherhood is killing me, slowly, but rapidly turning me into a silver fox . At this rate I'll need some back to black :D
