change the prop and diff flange for a 200TDi one.
Bit bored of welding at the moment so I filled the rear of chassis and body with 2 tins of dynax which goes on very well and sticks, even to verticals.
Torqued up all suspension bolts (176nm) is quite a hard to do in some places but all done. Whipped off rear prop. Cleaned it right up and painted. UJ has no play in.I also fitted drive shafts. Paper gaskets looked pretty rubbish so just used hylomar. I have a bit of play in rh drive shaft but don’t know how much is acceptable?

Always good to have a boot floor payday
Normal answer is a tray underneath, unless you fancy a box rebuild .
Maybe on a payday in the future I can buy shiny exciting bits rather than folded metal here’s another question then. Transfer box leaks. Does one buy a seal kit and rebuild or is there a common gasket that dies? Looks like there’s fresh oil on the bolts

JM would know more, depending on where it’s leaking.
Make it a big hole and put the complete feckin thing inI think the tray is the hope but I think it’s dripping from shaft onto bolt heads. Thanks, I’ll do some digging

It’s a D1 with d3 front endLike it bar lights and grille. I still want this oem+ look which I guess is equivalent to lr special vehicles kind of look. I do live white ones. Especially a 90s white. They look like there’s been hidden away in a time capsule
i prefer the D2 facelift lights on a D1.I thought they’d just made lights fit. Lights look awful on it. I’ll stick with my 200tdi retrofit lights lol. I didn’t realize how cold it is today. I have to keep coming in for tea and the radiator
Not all D1's had ARBs.
We can all help with 'lectrics if you want?
