I think I'd like first hand so I may not be able to get 100l but I'd have to see. I want it for undoing bolts more than anything but would also like to be able to expand on tools. The scaler tool would be beneficial but a lot of the rust is already gone! Spraying would be something I'd like to do. I know I wouldn't get workshop finish but I'd like to be able to spray rather than brush
I am very disappointed in my descaler tool. I am hoping to persuade @dieseldog69 to try it on his motor for a second opinion ;)

add an extra reservoir ie large gas bottle, ive managed well running small compressors when not near my larger one or when it broke down, its rare you constantly use a tool, its usually bursts 50l will run an air chisel ok and most tools, including a da it may take a little longer but 14cfm on a 50l tank is a good useful tool ive managed with less

I was impressed that the one you linked ran that.

theres allways a compromise, 50l and extra capacity ie gas bottle with a t piece would do most

Cool. I can get such things ;)

I'll have to see where I am after Xmas. I just paid someone 240 quid to pull up to my house, walk in, drink a coffee and walk out

Can do :) Got some scabby bits that need fettling and should it not meet requirements I'll pull it apart an see what's wrong :D

yes it just needs a t piece screwing into valve one in one out ie one male the other female
We had a big gas bottle on the farm with a ball valve and PCL bayonet fitting on it so we had extra capacity and a portable air supply for emergency uses, came in handy many times.

Wow, more money than sense

Can you send me a DM with the exact profession so that I can get retrained and qualified, don't want it posted on the open forum or everyone will beat me to the new job :D

I wish  that's why I have to think about tools etc carefully and look after things better than I did when I first started working

That costly coffee was for someone to value my house as I'm 1% off the next mortgage rung deal. 1%!!!!

I'd rather have me photo taken driving a freelander than be known as an estate agent :eek::eek:

I won't tell my Mrs that ;)

Just loaded up my new reel. Turns out I did have a fair bit left on the old one

It did judder a bit though which I put down to memory in the coils and now runs smooth. Cleaned it all up a bit.

It's not set for the best weather tomorrow but my welding all accessed from within the interior. I should be ok if it's raining a bit provided my workpiece isn't getting wet surely?

its the cold that is worse. every breath you take (theres a song there) breathes moisture on to bare metal, and it corrodes immediately :(.

Oh and it's a surveyor who's got to do the valuation. I guess that's why there's a heftier fee. Still awaiting the coffee visit lol. I think a freelander would suit you - In a pillow biting, shirt lifting, wham fan club, blue oyster kind of way?

:D:D:D:D this thread was full of grease, cuts, metal, blood, part numbers and all manner of manliness. You just turned it all sassy and glittery :D:D. Keeping on topic I'll have a snood on anyways so I'll keep my breath of death off the metal.
