hi again all

done blend motor and all good
but now ive got SRS air bag warning on dash

cant see any wires pulled off

any idea where wire is that ive pushed or pulled off?

cheers

Yellow sleeved cables depends what you took apart but there is one connector LH of steering wheel behind the binnacle area and one the other side.
However it could also have been triggered by low battery volts.
Diagnostics.

The cables come up from the transmission tunnel and in the case of the drivers side end up connecting to the rotary coupler behind the wheel.

I had a fault with my blend motor & stupidly turned on ignition to actuate the motor but hadn't plugged the binnacle in and that triggered an airbag fault. Had to pay someone with autologic to turn it out for the mot

Disturbed a bulb? If you blow an airbag bulb, the spare lights forever until you replace it...

Or so I believe...

Pushed the seats all the way back to gain some room and disturbed the wiring underneath?

If you had SRS disconnected when you switched on with dash out you will have a not connected fault recorded. Needs knocking off with diagnostics. You can't download diagnostic software for the P38.

oh bugger, ok ill strip dash back out at weekend n double check
then it looks like trip to main dealer then, any idea of costs to clear fault ish

cheers

Think about buying a Nanocom or such like, it will save you a fortune on trips to the dealer for diagnostics.

No need to strip dash out to check to make sure you have plugged it back in again....there is a yellow connection to the instrument binnacle, ensure this is seated correctly, it should be possible to see it by only removing the instrument binnacle surround!

But you will need diagnostics to clear the stored fault as per Wammers instruction!

No need to strip dash just remove instrument binnacle for connection to panel and drop glove box for connection to passenger bag. They are the two points you need to check, unless you have a 99 on with side bags then also look at yellow connectors under seats.
