FROM START UP THERE A SQUEAK FROM ENGINE SOUNDS LIKE DRIVE BELT BUT IT WONT GO AWAY & IF YOU SPRAY WD40 ON BELT IT GETS WORSE .HAD NOTHING BUT TROUBLE WITH THIS CAR AND INTEND TO GO BACK TO A DEFENDER 90 BUT HAVE TO NAIL THIS TO SELL THE HEEP.SQUEAKS ON START AND STOP THE CRANKSHAFT PULLEY DOES`NT SEEM TO BE WOBBLING .COULD IT BE THE DAMPNER. ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS .ANY HELP MUCH APPRECIATED. TD5 03 66K ON CLOCK:doh:
I was gonna point out that spraying grease on something that's slipping will only make it slip more :doh: so maybe try spraying some belt slip on it instead but he got all stroppy so **** him

Tips for getting good advise on forums.
1. Dont go to your vehicles section on forum and refer to it as " **** ",
2. Dont call people " ****s " cause theyve pointed out theres no need for capitols.
Shame you didnt do a bit of reading in the Discovery section before you bought it, you div !.

have you tried cutting off the belts, you may find that stops the noises,
and try sucking up to this grumpy old lot, it's like dropping a tip to SOMEONE WHO HELPS YOU OUT sorry i mean helps you out ;-)
